Case Study -IRAC METHOD
My case study analysis, "IRAC Case Analysis 2: 'Serving at the Pleasure of the City Council,'" clearly states a research question centered on how the city council should ethically address the actions of a newly hired city manager whose decisions caused significant disruption. The analysis presents data and evidence related to the ethical dilemmas posed by the city manager's actions, examining them through various ethical frameworks, including Deontological Ethics, Teleological Ethics, Justice as Fairness, Virtue-Based Ethics, and Altruism-Based Ethics. By evaluating these perspectives, the case study identifies the implications of these actions in-depth, discussing how they affect organizational dynamics and the fair treatment of employees. The analysis provides practical, action-oriented recommendations, such as mandating a collaborative leadership approach, implementing a review process for significant changes, and offering leadership training. These recommendations are supported by evidence and aim to foster a more ethical, transparent, and effective organizational culture.

Case Study- Cooper's Method
My case study analysis, "Abortion- Anti-Rights or Abortion Rights?," clearly states a research question related to public administration: "Should people have a right to unrestrictive rights to abortion?" The analysis presents data and evidence related to this problem, including the global impact of fundamentalist religious movements and anti-abortion agendas, and the intersectionality of various social justice movements. By exploring the ethical dilemma from multiple perspectives, including utilitarianism, justice as fairness, and deontological ethics, the case study provides a comprehensive understanding of the issue. It identifies and discusses the implications of the analysis in-depth, such as the need for comprehensive sex education, abortion counseling and support, and legal reform to ensure reproductive autonomy. The analysis emphasizes the importance of understanding and addressing the competing principles and values that influence decision-makers, ultimately aiming to promote a more compassionate and just approach to abortion rights.
